I read New Yorkers written by O. Henry. The story I liked the most is The Christmas Presents.In the story, there is one young poor couple. Each of them tried to get the best Christmas present for her or him. The young women with beautiful brown long hair sold her hair to get s gold chain for her husband's gold watch. On the other hand, her husband sold his gold watch taken over by his ancestors to get s beautiful comb fo his wife.
They finally lose each important thing to give a wonderful present, but this story is not tragic, because what matters the most for them was love between them. I love the ending of the story. Please read it.
